Historian Committee

Typically, Historians study the everyday lives of people who lived in the past by looking at clues:  the objects and documents that other people left behind and how somehow have survived.

The HASA Historian is, of course, concerned with the history of HASA and its former members, but also is very involved in the present.  The mission of this Historian is to advance knowledge and understanding of the present members of their valuable contributions to the organization.

HASA members are professionals in the field of education and are recognized by articles in the newsletter, photos at events, and by acknowledging outstanding accomplishments in their careers. This Historian is active in Special Event planning, increasing membership and opportunities for involvement, and reports to the Executive Director and President on activities and members to be acclaimed.
