Senator Ring Proposes to Eliminate the Pension!  This is the time for all of us to pick up the telephone, get on our internet email, and let our legislators know that we believe it is not fair to take back everything educators have gained as incentives to enter and stay in the profession.  If the goal is to take Florida back to its previous low ranks in the nation's education levels, these changes will help to achieve this goal. According to some reports, Florida is now ranked as having the nation's 5th best school system by spending 35th in the nation in the amount of money it provides to educate students.  JOHN MILIZIANO
