I have just spoken to Martin Lopez from
Representative Bob Allen's office who gave me the following updates
and recommendations as to what we can do to support the passage of
the Health Insurance Supplement House and Senate Bills.

We need to contact our
local
legislators and ask them to co-sponsor
HB 105 and SB 442.
-
We need to
contact members of the House
Fiscal Council which will hear HB 105 next and ask for their
support. Tell them that this Bill has received favorable review
from all government agencies. Be respectful when asking for their
support.
Representative Joe Negron is the Chairman of the Fiscal Council
and he is the one that will decide the fate of the Bill by allowing
