Review of topics and potential updates
Administrative Salary Schedule Update: Superintendent Ayers will continue to seek feedback at Principal Council meetings. HR and budget department anticipate a plan to be in place by May. A salary schedule proposal is being prepared, to bring to the board, so if approved it will take effect on July 1.
Magnet Ramp Coverage: What are the expectations and will administration be compensated for covering before/after contracted time? Dr. Whelan will provide an update from the Division of Academics.
Coverage was for the 1st 2 weeks in January only. Coverage is no longer necessary.
Assigned Parking for Administrators at ROSSAC: What are the updates?
The Director of Administration will collaborate with HASA and CTA in the event parking planning occurs.
FASA Membership: Superintendent will continue to review if this is a possible opportunity.

What are the dates for Leadership Institute?
Not yet determined.
What are the expectations for district personnel at the Leadership Institute? Will they be trainers?
Not yet determined.
Is it possible to get the mission and vision in advance to share during preplanning?
The mission and vision are set, this is more about a tag line and a decision was made to keep Hillsborough Strong for at least another year.
What are additional financial opportunities available to administrators within Federal, State or District Guidelines?
It is being determined if principals could be paid through ELP funds when an AP is not available. We will keep everyone updated once a decision is made.
- A Revision of the Salary Scale for HCPS Administrators will be completed by July 1, 2024.
- Superintendent Ayres expects HASA to be a voice for its members during this process.
- Funds secured from the passing of the 2024 referendum will be additional money for Administrators.

- Joint Principal/Supervisor’s Meeting’s: These will be held based on need. Summer Leadership Institute is scheduled for the first week in June and Joint Principal/Supervisor meeting the third week in July. These meetings will include Supervisors, Principals and above to be considerate of space.
- Resignation of Executive Director to pursue a run for school board.
- INFOR Concerns: This is a work in progress. Please be patient as we transition into this new way of work.
- HR is working hard to address the difference between administration and teacher pay.
- Additional compensation for High School Principals and Assistant Principals who work at additional events at night such as sports, dances, etc. are included in the salary of a high school administrator.
