Since 1975, HASA has advocated for administrators in Hillsborough County Public Schools with pride and distinction. HASA serves as the voice of hundreds of site-based leaders and district leaders. Our core principles, Leadership, Partnership and Fellowship, ensure we engage every leader in various legislative, educational, partnership, and fellowship activities to support our district's mission of Preparing Students for Life.
Through a collective voice, HASA advocates locally by meeting regularly with the Superintendent, his staff and Board members. HASA also engages in Florida’s legislative process by connecting with our legislators both in Hillsborough County and in Tallahassee. HASA collaborates with FASA and regional coalitions from many surrounding districts to monitor and influence the legislation that impacts educational policy and finances.
